Fame Whore

Celebrity's bloated importance in contemporary culture is the theme linking the trio of vignettes in this offbeat comedy. First, a surly tennis superstar (Peter Friedrich) loses lucrative endorsement deals when a French gazette prints an exposé claiming he's gay. Next up is the story of a rich but no-talent dilettante (Amy Davis) striving for fame, followed by a tale about a geeky animal lover (Victor Fischbarg) who channels Elwood P. Dowd.
