Legendary actor Mickey Rooney stars as Bill Sackter, a mentally disabled man released from an institution after a lifelong stay to see if he can survive on his own in the big city. Taken in by a kind family, Bill must prove he can keep up with society -- or risk being forced to return to the institution.
