Hong Kong filmmaker Patrick Tam returns to the director's chair after a 17-year absence with this story about a boy's (King-to Ng) loyalty to his ne'er-do-well father (Aaron Kwok) -- a bond that leads the young man to adopt a life of crime to support his dad's vices. Beautifully shot and edited, the film picked up a slew of Hong Kong Film Awards (including those for Best Director and Best Picture).
