While conducting sensitive experiments on electromagnetic brain manipulation, neural scientist Seth Alden (Michael Giese) uses himself as a test subject and accidentally gives himself the ability to read people's minds and emotions. As he becomes more and more aware of the inner lives and thoughts of others, Seth becomes increasingly paranoid and withdrawn, and his life soon spirals dangerously out of control.
