When they return to Norway, Viking brothers Harald (Cameron Mitchell) and Guntar (George Ardisson) learn that their father, the king, has been murdered. Harald attempts to recapture the throne from the warlord Sveno (Edmund Purdom) by pretending to be a visiting Danish ambassador. When the real Danish ambassador pays a visit, Harald must use his fighting skills to make it out of Sveno's castle alive.
