Upon his release from prison after serving a lengthy sentence for murder, Vargas (Argentino Vargas) undertakes a boat journey through the remote swampy jungles of Argentina in an effort to reconnect with his daughter in this lyrical drama. Shedding his clothing, money and other material goods along the way, Vargas gradually forges a mysterious connection with nature as he travels deep into the jungle and delves into the secrets of his past.
