Mateo's (Harry Laurel) search for his long-lost father brings him to the small rural community of Lobo, where he takes a job as a lighthouse caretaker. There, he meets a gay man named Jerome (Justin De Leon), and the two men begin a secret but passionate love affair. While trying to keep his girlfriend, Suzette (Jennifer Lee), from finding out about Jerome, Mateo begins to discover his true self.
