A battery of Red Army soldiers fights valiantly at the Battle on the Volga to prevent Nazi tank divisions from rescuing the besieged German army at Stalingrad in this epic Russian import set during World War II. While trying to stave off the enemy, the Soviets must also battle bitter cold and hunger.
