In this Hindi-language comedy (a remake of the Malayalam film Vettom), lovesick friends Nitin (Akshay Kumar) and Ram (Sunil Shetty) come up with a plan to get rich quick and marry their sweethearts (Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy) by dog-napping a wealthy woman's (Archana Puran Singh) pooch and holding it for ransom. But when the dog scampers away, the cops assume that Nitin is the one who needs rescuing. Suddenly, Ram is a wanted man.
