At odds with his family, teenage Axel (Harry Lampl) joins a gang of neo-Nazis in Vienna. When they raid a soup kitchen, Axel kills a social worker and hides in the most unlikely of places: a laundry run by an elderly gay man named Gustav (Helmut Berger). Struck by Axel's resemblance to his slain lover -- a victim of the Nazis -- Gustav allows the skinhead to stay at the laundry, and an unexpected friendship blooms.
