This intriguing mystery boasts gothic mansions and supernatural scares galore as lovely orphan Audrey (Leonor Manso), the companion to mysterious Mrs. Howard (Yvonne De Carlo), finds a dead woman in a nearby home and is told by the police that the murder occurred 23 years before. Audrey decides to investigate the slaying herself, and after she finds the dead woman's diary, sinister visions begin to plague her, which not even a séance can cure.
