John Rubinstein stars as Jesus of Nazareth in this dramatized reenactment of Jesus's birth, life and death, as seen through the eyes of a narrator (Brad Crandall) who guides viewers through an epic but familiar biblical saga. Morgan Brittany co-stars as Jesus' virginal mother, Mary, with Annette Charles playing the part of Mary Magdalene, and Nehemiah Persoff and Lawrence Dobkin filling the roles of King Herod and Pontius Pilate.
