When small-town girl Kelly Olsson (Ann-Margret) sets out to be a writer, she quickly discovers that her material is too staid for the racier tastes of the reading public. Her response? To pose as a swinger and then write about her "experiences." The strategy works brilliantly, and Kelly's pieces are a huge hit. But now Kelly must play the swinger in real life, too -- with a sexy magazine editor (Anthony Franciosa) hell-bent on "saving" her.
