Although Greer has proved equally adept at comedy and drama in films such as Three Kings and What Women Want, her most attention-getting performances have capitalized on her gift for grabbing laughs, from her portrayal of a ditzy assistant in 2001's The Wedding Planner to her recurring role on the Fox satire "Arrested Development" (2003-05).
Recent films for Greer include the indie comedy The Amateurs (2005), Wes Craven's Cursed, Elizabethtown (opposite Orlando Bloom) and Paul Weitz's political satire American Dreamz (2006).
