After supporting parts in Big Night and Sleepers (both 1996), Driver earned a Best Supporting Actress nod as Matt Damon's love interest in Good Will Hunting (1997). That same year, she starred opposite John Cusack in Grosse Pointe Blank.
Driver has balanced her work among costume dramas (1998's The Governess, 1999's An Ideal Husband and 2004's The Phantom of the Opera) with quirky comedies (2000's Return to Me) and TV (2007's "The Riches," for which she received her first Emmy nomination). In 2004, she launched a second career as a singer with the release of a folk-rock album, "Everything I've Got in My Pocket."
