Kristin Chenoweth

A classically trained singer with a distinctive speaking voice and an enviable soprano range, Kristin Chenoweth was born in Broken Arrow, Okla., on July 24, 1968, and studied musical theater and opera at Oklahoma City University.

Chenoweth's long string of Broadway successes includes a Tony-winning turn as Sally in the 1999 revival of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" and a Tony-nominated stint as Glinda in "Wicked" (2003-04). But her television career has proved equally fruitful, resulting in memorable supporting roles on "The West Wing" and "Pushing Daisies," the latter of which earned the actress an Emmy statuette.

Chenoweth's resume also includes movies, most notably Bewitched, Stranger than Fiction, and Running with Scissors.
